The History of Mozart's

The music of Mozart has always seemed to play in my heart and in my soul.  It was no surprise to name my first business venture, a German delicatessen, after this famous composer as it was the embodiment of a classical elegance that comfortably fit into downtown historical Redlands, California.  Eventually, after introducing a few European items for sale within the deli, I began to build a dream of establishing a fine gift shop that would be in keeping with the artistic, historical and musical atmosphere of this lovely university town.  Redlands became my "Salzburg" and "Mozart's" my fine gift shop.

My goal then and now was to reflect and appreciate the natural setting for a gift store that would give something back to this city and community.  Since we opened our doors nearly twenty-five years ago, we have seen the children and grandchildren of our original customers become customers themselves!  The joy of having entire families as continuing shoppers is not only a gift but a blessing as well!  Our web site is a preview of the fine, unique and distinctive gifts we have on display.  I shall never lose the joy of selecting new surprises and meaningful treasures for our wonderful customers.  I like to think that by sprinkling a liberal amount of fairy dust inside the store Mozart's will always remain imaginative, enchanting and pleasing.  Together with complimentary gift wrapping, special events with musicians and refreshments, store and floral designers, fun sales and gift surprises, our customers will know how much they are appreciated and the spirit of Mozart's will have been achieved!  Come celebrate with Mozart's a wonderful shopping experience!  You are always welcome here!
